The Lincoln Wastewater System provides a continuing and comprehensive effort to assure the proper collection and treatment of current and future wastewater flows and loads in an environmentally sound and cost effective manner that protects human health and environment; and that meets Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and State of Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) National Pollutant Discharge System (NPDES) discharge permits, Clean Air Act permits, and other regulated operating requirements.
