Formal training in art has been limited. I am largely self-taught but have found many opportunities to paint with others and to learn. I have always found art of all genres to be of interest, especially where there is interaction. My art brings me the most satisfaction when it is shared with others, so public art seems comfortable. I have participated in the Tour de Lincoln, Star Art; Sarpy County Plains to Planes projects and currently, Rain Barrel 2010.
I am a native Nebraskan and my post-secondary education was in the field of radiologic technology. In retrospect, this was perhaps, just another level of creative imaging that I thoroughly enjoyed. Eventually, I became degreed in health care administration and was employed by a local hospital for thirty-some years.
