Public Meeting/Open House
for the 28th and Fair Street Storm Sewer Project

at Clinton Elementary School, 1520 N 29th Street
Construction in the Area
This stormwater improvement project will involve the replacement of a storm sewer along Fair Street, from 24th to 28th Street. A map of the project route is attached below.
This project is being constructed to prevent flooding between 27th and 28th Street near Fair Street.
Schedule
Construction will begin Summer 2006 and is anticipated to be completed by Spring 2007. Construction crews will start on the downstream side near 25th and Fair Street.
What to Expect During Construction
Construction of a storm sewer is a large, multi-faceted project. Some things that can be expected include:
- Trenches
- Construction staging areas
- Boring equipment
- Truck and equipment traffic
- Safety barricades
- Temporary street closures

Representatives from both the City of Lincoln and Olsson Associates, the engineering firm designing this project, will be present to answer your questions and listen to your concerns.
