- Description:
- The design and construction of stream stability measures in the Stevens Creek watershed near 98th and Van Dorn. Currently a tributary to Stevens Creek is degrading in the area of 98th and Van Dorn. The Stevens Creek Watershed Master Plan identified this area as having stream stability problems. This project will result in stabilizing the stream to reduce the amount of degradation and vegetation loss in these areas and improve water quality by reducing the amount of sedimentation in the stream. This is a joint City natural resources project with the Lower Platte South NRD with the NRD as the lead agency on the construction.
