- Purchase of easements or fee title for floodplain/floodprone areas to conserve flood storage, flood conveyance, and other natural beneficial functions of the floodplain.
- Funding for conservation easements/aqusitions for property in Beal Slough floodplain both north and south of Pine Lake Park and for property in the Cardwell Branch floodplain southwest of SW 12th Street and West Denton Road. This project is being led by the City with the Lower Platte South NRD providing a cost share.
