Needing to pay for a section of meters as part of your construction project? You need to apply for a permit to meet our community’s standards as defined in the Lincoln Municipal Code for the use of meter hoods.
If this is for a roll-off dumpster or equipment to set then a Street Use permit is required. If the meter hood is a part of a Street Use all requirements for a Street Use permit will still apply.
For more information on Street Use permits visit our Street Use Permit page.
Meter Hood days will exclude Sundays and the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
For assistance with understanding these requirements, give us a call at the number at 402-441-7882 to speak with Plan Review.
