This project will construct sidewalk on the north side of Old Cheney Road from the Jamaica Trail east, extending across the BNSF Railway, to the existing sidewalk east of the BNSF Railway. The project will include earthwork, sidewalk and driveway construction.
Old Cheney Road from 1st Street to Hunts Drive will be closed Monday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The recommended detour is Warlick Boulevard to South 14th Street.
Pedestrian and bicycle traffic may have closures in the project area. Local access to the Wilderness Park trailhead parking lot off of Old Cheney Road will be maintained.
