City Urges Proper Disposal of Fireworks Debris Published on June 28, 2024 Keep Lincoln and Lancaster County Beautiful (KLLCB) and Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) encourage residents to dispose of unused fireworks and fireworks debris properly and safely following Independence Day celebrations. Residents’ efforts will help keep waste haulers and City landfill staff safe from injury, while also protecting local waterways.
Portion of West Fletcher Avenue to Close July 1 Published on June 27, 2024 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that West Fletcher Avenue between NW. 13th and NW. 20th streets will close beginning Monday, July 1, for pavement repair. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 5.
