Public Pools

Lincoln Public Pools season is Tuesday, May 27 through Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Daily Pool Hours: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Pool reservations can be purchased once the season starts (May 27 at 9:00 AM) online.

If there are questions, please contact the Aquatics Office, F Street Community Center, 1225 F Street Second Floor, 402-441-7960, during regular business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm).

* POOL CLOSURE: STAR CITY SHORES ON SUNDAY, JULY 7 due to a staffing shortage and will reopen Monday, July 7. All other city pools will remain open and are operating under normal hours today, from 1 to 6 p.m. *

Arnold Heights Pool

Arnold Heights Pool Includes diving boards, a slide and separate gated wading pool located in northeast Lincoln.

Ballard Pool

Ballard Pool includes diving board, a slide and a separate gated wading pool.

Belmont Pool

Belmont Pool includes a slide, diving board, and separated gated wading pool.

Eden Pool

Eden Pool includes diving boards, a slide and separate gated wading pool.

Highlands Aquatic Center

Highlands Aquatic Center is a zero entry pool with a slide, and diving board.

Irvingdale Pool

Irvingdale Pool includes a slide, diving boards, and separate gated wading pool. The pools depth varies from 3 foot to 10 foot.

Star City Shores Aquatic Center

Star City Shores is a zero entry pool with many water play features. It includes two water slides and a lap lane area.

University Place Aquatic Center

University Place Aquatic Center includes zero entry pool with a water slide, diving board and spray features.

Woods Pool

Woods Pool includes a 50 meter pool with diving well, separate 25 meter warm-up pool and gated spray park area. The diving well includes 1 and 3 meter springboards and diving towers.

Trago Sprayground is OPEN!

Sprayground Season: May 14, 2025 through September 1, 2025 - Opens Early Due to Warm Temperatures (May 14, 2025)
The free sprayground located off 22nd and U Streets will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This site also features a new playground and plaza area, updated site furnishings and irrigation.
Trago Park information
The Trago Sprayground is not managed by the Aquatics section. Please contact 402-441-7847 for questions or to report an issue.

Rules and Regulations

GENERAL POOL RULES

1. Youth under 7 must be accompanied by a person 16 or over.
2. If a diaper is worn, it must be a swim diaper.
3. Proper swimming suit is required for admittance. No cut offs or shorts allowed. No street clothes allowed on pool deck.
4. Floating apparatus, including water wings, are allowed in the baby pool only. Inner tubes and air mattresses are not allowed. Water toys are generally not allowed.
5. U.S.S. Coast Guard or Red Cross life jacket is allowed.
6. No smoking allowed in any pool area.
7. Hours of operation may be altered due to inclement weather. If by 3:00 p.m. the air temperature has not reached 70 degrees, a determination will be made on whether to close for the remainder of the day.
8. Please check the entrance of the pool for additional rules and regulations.

Pool Rentals

Rental arrangements are made online
Rental dates may be reserved after opening on May 26
Rental times are for 1.5 hours during non-public hours of operation. Some pool locations may be able to accommodate a morning rental.
