Located off N. 49th Street and Francis Streets, this park is a popular spot for activities including horseshoes, volleyball, picnics, and swimming at the nearby pool. Parking lot access is available on north and south points of the park. Deadman's Run creek flows through the middle of the park.

In 2018, University Place Park to Seng Park to honor the decades of civic and public service of the Seng family including the former Mayor Coleen Seng. Former Mayor Seng represented northeast Lincoln on the City Council from 1987 through 2003. She was elected Lincoln's 50th mayor in 2003 and served one four-year term. She was very active in the University Place Community Organization (UPCO) and worked for the Girl Scouts and First United Methodist Church. The Seng family was a developer in the University Place area.
