LPD Releases Memorial Weekend Traffic Safety Project Results

The Lincoln Police Department today released results from its Memorial Day weekend traffic safety project conducted 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, May 24, Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26. On-duty and additional officers patrolled “O” Street from 17th to 84th streets to reduce and respond to unsafe driving behaviors, trespassing, littering, noise violations and alcohol-related violations to increase public safety.

The project was funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Results are as follows:
