Health Department Launches Online Mental Wellbeing Platform

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) and partners today launched a new online mental wellbeing platform called CredibleMind. The platform provides Lincoln and Lancaster County residents access to evidence-based mental health resources that can be personalized to fit their needs.

Lincoln City Libraries Page to Stage Program Begins August 14

Lincoln City Libraries and the Lied Center for Performing Arts today invited community members to participate in a special program that combines reading and performing arts into a unique cultural experience. The Page to Stage season begins August 14 with “Frozen: Ice Princess Storytime.” The event is at 10:30 a.m. at Bennett Martin Library, 136 S. 14th St. Costumes are encouraged.

The City North 48th Street Transfer Station hours are being extended five additional hours today, Sunday, August 10 due to high volumes of vehicles dropping off tree debris. From noon to 5 p.m. today, the transfer station will only accept vehicles that are dropping off tree debris.
