City Announces Weather-Related Closures, Schedule Changes January 8

Due to inclement weather, the City today announced closures and schedule changes for Monday, January 8. The changes are as follows:
StarTran – Bus service on all routes, including paratransit service, will end at 7 p.m. The last dropoff at Golds will be at 7:05 p.m. For more information on StarTran services, visit lincoln.ne.gov/StarTran or call 402-476-1234. Bus riders can also download the RideLNK app to get real time bus location information.
Building and Safety – The public counter, Room 201, second floor, County-City Building, 555 S. 10th St., will close at 3 p.m. The public counter will resume regular hours on Tuesday, January 9.
Animal Control – Crews will respond only to emergency and high priority calls until further notice.
Parks and Recreation – All City recreation centers and the Pioneers Park Nature Center are closed.
Recycling – All City recycling sites will be closed from 1 p.m. Monday, January 8, until noon Wednesday, January 10. Sites will not be serviced during this time. For more information on recycling locations, visit lincoln.ne.gov/Recycle.
Lincoln Water System – The water billing office, Room 203, second floor, County-City Building, 555 S. 10th St., will close at 3 p.m. The office will resume regular hours on Tuesday, January 9.
Aging Partners – All Aging Partners Senior Centers in Lincoln and Lancaster County are closed.
