Temporary Street Closures Scheduled for October 31, November 3

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced temporary street closures scheduled for Thursday, October 31, and Sunday, November 3.

The closures are as follows:

• Southbound North 12th Street from “P” to “Q” streets will close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, October 31, for building construction. The recommended detour is “P” Street to North 13th Street to “O” Street.

• Streets surrounding the Nebraska State Capitol will temporarily close from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 3, for an event. They include South 14th Street between “H” and “K” streets, Goodhue Boulevard between “G” and “H” streets, “H” Street between South 14th and South 16th streets, and Lincoln Mall between South 13th and South 14th streets.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
