The Parks and Recreation Department today announced that registration is open for adult slow-pitch softball. The registration deadline is March 19 for the Power League division and March 31 for all other divisions. The deadline to receive reduced rates is February 19. Adult leagues are for players age 18 and older and include an a six- or eight-week regular season depending on the days played and a double elimination tournament. Teams may choose game days – Sunday through Friday. Games run from April 14 through late July will be played at Mahoney Park, North 70th and Fremont streets; Holmes Lake Park, 70th Street and Normal Boulevard; and Ballard Park, 3901 N. 66th St.
