LTU Invites Community to Celebrate National Public Works Week

Published on May 20, 2024

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today invited Lincoln residents to celebrate National Public Works Week, May 19 through 25, to recognize and honor LTU’s essential workers. This year’s theme is “Advancing Quality of Life for All.”

LTU Director Liz Elliott acknowledged the contributions of the LTU team to keep Lincoln residents moving.

“Our LTU team members are dedicated to providing the public with essential services in transportation, transit, and utilities, all aimed at advancing the quality of life for all members of the community,” Elliott said. “Their hard work behind the scenes ensures that our daily lives run smoothly, and that Lincoln remains a great place to live, work, and play.”

The community is encouraged to celebrate Public Works Week by thanking an LTU team member in person, or on LTU’s Facebook or X pages. Tag LTU at @LTULNK and @LTULincoln.
