Portions of Several Lincoln Streets to Temporarily Close June 1

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced portions of several streets will temporarily close Saturday, June 1 for two special events.

Closures for the Havelock Charity Run event are as follows:

• A westbound lane of Adams Street from North 84th to North 70th streets will close from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• Havelock Avenue from North 62nd to North 64th streets will close from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Havelock Avenue from North 64th to North 68th streets will close from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
• North 63rd Street from Fremont Street to Havelock Avenue will close from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• A northbound lane of North 70th Street from Adams to Fremont streets will close from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• A southbound lane of North 84th from Havelock Avenue to Adams Street will close from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The closure for the Nebraska Whiskey Carnivale event is as follows:

• “P” Street from North 16th to North 17th streets will close from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities appreciates the public’s patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
