Juneteenth Celebration Set For June 22

The Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to a free Juneteenth celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the “F” Street Community Center, 1225 “F” St.

Activities include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, big wheel derby, classic car show, free food and raffle prizes, facepainting, DJ and street dance, and more.

Prizes and giveaways are donated by Spreetail, We Can Do This, Hy-Vee, Pepsi-Cola, Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln, UnbeWingable, Norland Pure Water, Hiland Dairy and others.
