Several Temporary Street Closures Scheduled For July 13, 14

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced several street closures occurring Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14. The closures are as follows:

• The intersection of Northwest First Street and West Fletcher Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 13, for a paving project. The recommended detour is Northwest First Street to West Highland Boulevard to Northwest 12th Street. StarTran Route 52-Gaslight will be detoured during this closure. • Salt Creek Roadway from Stadium Drive to North 14th Street and Stadium Drive from Salt Creek Roadway to “T” Street will be closed from 6 to 11 a.m., Sunday, July 14, for the Nebraska Football Road Race. The recommended detour is North 10th Street to Military Road to Antelope Valley Parkway.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities appreciates the public’s patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
