Public pool season ends at 6 p.m. Sunday
Lincoln Parks and Recreation invites canine residents (and their human companions) to the annual Dog Splash event Sunday, August 11 at Star City Shores, 4375 S. 33rd Court. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per dog (cash only) and will go on sale at 6 p.m. at the front gates.
Each dog may be accompanied by up to two adults and one child age eight and older. The event features access to the zero-entry area, an area for small dogs and retrieval activities in the lap lanes. When dogs are not in the water, they must be on a leash. People may wade to their knee height.
Parks and Recreation reminds residents that the 2024 pool season ends at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 11. The following public pools are open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week:
