City Announces Weather Related Closures and Service Changes

The City of Lincoln today announced closures and service changes due to subzero temperatures. The changes are as follows:

 

  • The Lincoln City Libraries Bookmobile is not in service. The bookmobile was scheduled to visit KinderCare, 5601 Pioneers Blvd.; Shepherd of the Hills Church, 6901 Panama Road in Hickman; and Hickman Presbyterian Church, 300 East Third St.
  • Preschool and day structure is canceled at Easterday Recreation Center, 6130 Adams St., which follows the Lincoln Public Schools schedule.
  • Recreation and community centers, including the Pioneers Park Nature Center will open at 9 a.m.
  • The Washington Street Senior Center in Grace Lutheran Church, 225 Washington St., is closed.
