Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) invites residents to an open house on Thursday, April 17 regarding repairs to Pine Lake Road between 14th and 32nd streets. The Lincoln on the Move quarter-cent sales tax street rehabilitation project event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Scott Middle School, 2200 Pine Lake Road.
The 1.5 mile Pine Lake Road project includes concrete lane repairs, median surfacing, storm drain inlet reconstruction and pavement markings. Additional work with other funding sources includes upgrades to the existing curb ramps to meet federal and local standards and possible pedestrian push button upgrades.
Members of the project team will be available to answer questions and provide an overview of the project, as well as information on the planned improvements, project phasing and the construction schedule. No formal presentation is planned.
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2025 and be completed in 2026. For more information on this public open house or the project, visit lincoln.ne.gov (search: Pine Lake).
