Get project updates via text from Lincoln Transportation and Utilities

The City of Lincoln is excited to introduce TextLNK, a free text messaging service for community members, hosted by TextMyGov. TextLNK provides updates regarding street and utility infrastructure projects to help you stay informed of construction schedules, detours, and project progress. Community members may receive a text message from 91896 from the City of Lincoln initiating the service. Residents, businesses, and visitors may also sign up to receive text notifications related to specific projects.

How it Works

Community members within a project area may receive project improvement updates from the City of Lincoln automatically via text message. You may check your subscription status at any time using the phone number look-up tool.

If you would like to offer input or have a question regarding a project, please go to lincoln.ne.gov/Projects, select the project, and contact the project manager listed at the bottom of the page.

How to Opt In

You may choose to manually opt in to any project listed by texting the project's keyword to 91896.
After the initial keyword is sent, you will receive a confirmation message asking you to reply YES to verify opt-in.
Once you verify opt-in, you will receive a final confirmation message that you have been added to the project notification list.

Community members cannot reply to text messages. You may receive multiple text messages. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for more details.
