Mayor's Office
Citizens are invited to attend a public meeting on the proposed design of the North 14th and Superior Street intersection from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 29 at Lincoln North Star High School, 5801 N. 33rd St. Representatives of the City of Lincoln and its project consultants will be available to discuss the proposed design and answer questions. A presentation will begin at 6 p.m.
The City of Lincoln plans roadway improvements to accommodate growth in the area of North 14th and Superior streets. Two design options currently exist – expand the intersection by adding lanes in all directions or construct a multi-lane modern roundabout.
Before plans are finalized, the project team would like comments from the public about these two options. Citizens are invited to learn more and share their opinion at the public meeting or through the project Web site at www.oasites.com/north14th .
If you have any questions before the meeting or are unable to attend, please contact either Jon Olsen with Olsson Associates at 458-5614 or Devin Biesecker with the City of Lincoln at 441-4955.
