Mayor's Office
The public is invited to an open house Thursday, January 30 on the proposed design of a storm drain project near 56th Street and Colfax Avenue. The project will address deficiencies in the existing stormwater system in the area and increase the system's overall capacity. The existing David Murdock Trail will be modified as part of the project. The meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Anderson Branch Library, 3635 Touzalin Avenue.
The design for this project will be completed in late spring, with construction expected later this year. This open house will provide an opportunity for the public to review preliminary plans and meet with project team members to ask questions and give input on the project.
The project is funded through the 2012 stormwater bond issue.
