Pioneers Park Nature Center will host the Prairie Jazz Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at the Center's tallgrass prairie. The Friends of Pioneers Park Nature Center are holding the fundraiser to support the Center's development and programing. The Center will be closed to the public at 1 p.m. that day and reopen for the festival at 3:30 p.m.
Performers include Sarah Cosano and Cambia, the Jackie Allen Quintet and the Gulizia Brothers. General admission tickets are $40. VIP tickets are $100 and include entrance to the festival, premium seating (shade tent with tables and chairs), access to the VIP bar and a catered meal with two drink tickets. General admission ticket holders may bring chairs, blankets and food, but no outside beverages are allowed. Food and drink can be purchased (cash only) from the event vendor, Brewsky's in the Haymarket.
The Prairie Jazz Festival is made possible with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
