The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department will give one of three presentations at the annual meeting of the Great Plains Trails Network (GPTN) Saturday, February 24. The public is invited to the meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. in the community room at Cornhusker Bank, 8310 "O" Street. These three presentations will lead the agenda:
GPTN's annual awards program and election of the 2018 Board of Directors will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
GPTN is a nonprofit organization that advocates and supports a network of trails in Lancaster County and Nebraska. Lincoln's 132-mile trail system includes about 86 miles of commuting/recreational trails and 46 miles of hiking/biking trails.
