Aging Partners Senior Centers Relocating in June

Aging Partners Director Randall S. Jones today announced that effective June 5, two Aging Partners senior centers in Lancaster County will have new locations:

Jones said the relocations are intended to improve service delivery and cost efficiency. "The majority of our Maxey Center patrons attended both the Maxey Center on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as the Belmont Center on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays," he said. "This move will allow us to provide daily meals throughout the year at one location and continue service through the summer. It will also increase seniors' access to Parks and Recreation activities at Belmont." Jones also said the Waverly move will take advantage of a popular, existing gathering place in addition to providing lease savings.

In addition to hot and sack meals, Aging Partners' senior centers provide exercise programs, events, recreational activities, informational presentations and a great place for seniors to socialize. When the relocation is complete, Aging Partners will have five senior centers in Lincoln as well as centers in Hickman, Firth, Bennet and Waverly.
