Mulch Now Available at Four City Sites

The Parks and Recreation Department now offers free mulch at four locations in Lincoln. The mulch is available for non-commercial, public use only on a first-come-first-served basis. The wood chips are the byproduct of trees removed from parks and along streets, and supplies are replenished as the Forestry Division processes the wood. The locations are as follows:

Mulch can be picked up from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. at all locations except Oak Lake Park. Mulch is available at the Oak Lake Park location by appointment only by calling 402-441-7958.
