A separate application and job specific supplemental questionnaire is required for each position for which you are applying. Applications and supplemental questionnaires can be accessed by clicking on Job Vacancies. For internal jobs click on Promotional Opportunities and for seasonal jobs click on Other Opportunities. Clicking on the position title you may view the posted job description.

Applicants without computer access may come to the Human Resources Department, at 555 South 10th Street., Room 302. Office hours: M- F; 8:00am - 4:00pm. Computers and staff assistance provided.

NOTE: City/County jobs are updated every Saturday at 12:00am. All electronic submissions need to be received by 11:59pm on the closing date of the position.

Resumes are not part of the application process, however, may be presented at the time of a personal interview.

The City of Lincoln / Lancaster County Human Resources Department does not conduct personal interviews for position vacancies. All applications are evaluated according to individual skills, knowledge and abilities as they relate to the requirements of the position(s). Top applicants are referred to the department for further consideration. This process takes up to 14 working days after the position closes.
