Three Teens Arrested for Attempt Robbery
On January 14, 2009, three Lincoln teens were arrested for the October 14, 2008 Robbery at George's Auto Sales, 1500 Cornhusker Highway. During the initial report, Terrance Nevels and Andrew Casteneda stated that they were speaking with George Kholousi in the dealership lot. They were discussing the possible purchase of a vehicle. Suddenly, an unknown male approached them, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Terrance gave the $1600 he had in his pocket while George, who thought it was a joke, laughed. The assailant shot George in the leg before fleeing the scene. George received treatment at a local hospital for the injury.
Through countless interviews, investigators determined that Terrance Nevels and Andrew Casteneda were accomplices in the robbery. They were to act like they were looking at cars in order to lure George Kholousi outside. Darious Fletcher has been identified as the shooter. All three were arrested for 1st degree Assault, Attempt Robbery and two counts of Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony. Terrance Nevels was lodged at the Lancaster County Jail while Andrew Casteneda and Darious Fletcher were taken to the Youth Detention Center.
