Lincoln Police Investigating Death of a Child
On March 2, 2010, at 9:45p.m., emergency units were dispatched to a home in 3600 block of Lewis Avenue on a child that was not breathing. Attempts to revive the boy at the scene were not successful. He was transported to a Lincoln hospital and pronounced deceased at 10:28pm. An autopsy the following morning revealed that the 22 month old child did not die from natural causes. Lincoln Police Department investigators are still interviewing people who spent time with him on the day of his death. The investigation is on-going.
