56th and Morton Drainage Improvement Project
2016 Stormwater Bond
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the existing drainage channel to reduce future flood risk and make the channel safer and easier to maintain.
84th and Havelock Improvement Project
Roadway Improvement Project
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, November 5, 2018 on a roadway improvement project in the area of 84th and Havelock Avenue. The new design of the intersection will better accommodate increasing traffic volume due to residential growth and Lancaster County Event Center programming.

Downtown Water Main Replacement
Water Main Project
This project will install a new water main pipeline, which is necessary to reduce water main breaks and service and traffic disruptions in the downtown area. It will also allow Lincoln Water System to better serve new development and a growing customer base. Work will take place along the east side of 10th from “K” to “O,” along the east side of 11th from “L” to “Q,” and along the north side of “M” from 9th to 11th.

Pine Lake from 61st to Highway 2
Widening and Safety Improvement Project
Pine Lake Road is being widened to four lanes from S 61st Street to Highway 2. This project is necessary to increase the capacity of this roadway as a part of the increasing development in southeast Lincoln.

Rokeby from 70th to 84th
Paving and Safety Improvement Project
This project includes grading and construction of new pavement on Rokeby Road from 70th Street to Carpathian Lane. The project also includes installation of new turn lanes at 70th Street and Rokeby Road, roundabouts at the intersections of Rokeby Road with 73rd and 75th streets, storm sewer improvements, ADA-accessible sidewalks and LED street lights.

Street Rehabilitation Project
These projects will mill and overlay the streets with new asphalt. Pedestrian curb ramps that do not meet current Federal and local standards will be reconstructed to meet those standards.
Rosa Parks Way – Salt Creek Bridge
Bridge Repair Project
This project includes repairs to the bridges over Salt Creek on Rosa Parks Way. Work will include repairing the pavement where the bridge meets the rest of the street, addressing soil erosion issues and upgrading drainage of the roadway.

Salt Creek and Pioneers Bridge
Stream Stabilization Project
This project is a joint agency effort between the City Public Works and Utlities and Parks departments, Lancaster County, and the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, and involves stabilizing the channel of Salt Creek and protecting the Pioneers Blvd. bridge structure.
